Behind the Lens
A photographer who sees what Matters
There’s more to document than milestones. Life happens in the in-between. Through a documentary approach, I capture families in real time—messy, connected, changing, and beautiful. These are the moments you’ll one day miss.
Hi, I’m Natassia
friends call me Tasha
I’m a Memphis-based documentary family photographer and mom of four who understands the beautiful chaos of everyday life.
I know what it feels like to want to hold onto everything while also barely keeping up with how quickly it all moves. That’s why I do this work. I pay attention to what slips by unnoticed: routines, connection, and the in-between moments that tell the real story of your life.
My goal is to preserve it honestly and naturally, without interruption. Just life as it unfolds.
Real life, exactly as it is
I don’t direct life.
I simply observe it.
I focus on connection, movement, and the small details that define a season. Whether I’m in your home or moving through your everyday rhythm, I’m there to document what’s already happening so you can remember it as it truly was.

what I’m up to
Learning all things photojournalism through a season-long documentary photography course I'm currently immersed in.
Moving back into the heart of Memphis after a couple of years on the outskirts and we couldn't be more excited!
Sipping my way through every local coffee shop this summer while learning to make better coffee at home!
Resting and enjoying time together as a family after a full school year and a very welcomed summer break.
Traveling to Spain earlier this year has us dreaming about where our next cross-cultural family adventure will take us!
ABOUT YOU
My clients are people who deeply love their families and want to remember what this season of life feels like.
They’re often trying to slow things down while still getting through the day. They wish they could hold onto it all before it shifts again. My work is about giving them that pause and preserving honest, meaningful moments they can return to long after this season has passed.

Let’s document this season
If you’ve been waiting for the “right time,” this is it. Your real life is already enough. I’ll turn your everyday moments into something you can hold onto.
